This may be the most boring forecast ever. With high pressure overhead we've got us a clear, dry and mellow Labor Day. Look for a high around 80 degrees. Perfect for the parade! That high pressure system will slide eastward overnight. The resulting wind shift should warm the city into the mid 80s tomorrow.
The first day of school will start out just as warm but a cold front is expected to pass through town late on Wednesday afternoon. While it will get breezy there's so little moisture around that the front will struggle to produce clouds let alone significant rainfall.
Once the front passes there will be a couple of cool days to end the week. Look for the high in Thursday and Friday to reach the mid 70s. The chance of reaching 90 degrees again this year are growing slimmer and slimmer.
