An elderly woman and a motorcyclist were both killed after a collision in Queens yesterday afternoon. Cops say that Darien Baker, 31, was riding on a 2013 Suzuki motorcycle traveling westbound on Queens Boulevard around 4:30 p.m. Saturday when he struck a 78-year-old woman crossing northbound at 58th Street.
A witness told CBS that the motorcyclist was part of a larger group that were popping wheelies down the road. The witness said only one person from the group stayed behind after the crash. Both Baker and the woman were taken to Elmhurst General Hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Police add the investigation is ongoing.
