An Upper East Side couple apparently committed suicide a month ago, but their bodies were only found yesterday, according to the Daily News. "The bodies of Michael Mendelson, 86, and Dale Roll, 75, were discovered in their E. 70th St. high-rise apartment about 10:30a.m., after a neighbor reported a foul odor... A source said the couple penned a note that said 'something to the effect there's nothing suspicious. We did this.'" It's believed they overdosed on Ambien and the source also said there were towels stuffed into the door's cracks to hide the smell, "They did not want to be found."
