Early this morning a 17-year-old boy was fatally shot at the southbound 2 train platform at the West Farms Square/East Tremont Ave stop, and police pulled at least 12 men from the platform for questioning. Police say the victim was shot in the chest around 1:30 a.m. and was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Barnabas Hospital. Oddly, of the 12 men pulled for questioning, the Daily News reports that "about eight of them wore similar orange puffy jackets." We're not sure if that's some sign of violence, or if eight people in the Bronx just had really bad fashion taste.
