A Highway Patrol unit based in Chelsea and on lookout for drunk drivers are getting transferred to a unit in the Bronx, and though they deny that the cost-cutting measure will affect enforcement, officials are worried it will mean drunk drivers in Manhattan will get a free pass. There is no word if cops will dial down their pulling over drivers with "tinted windows" initiative, but just remember that if you do get pulled over, asking to get let go probably isn't the best idea.
