Over an inch of rain fell on Central Park yesterday. That was our first rainfall in three weeks. Except for a slight chance of rain on Saturday it looks like there will be another week of dry weather ahead of us.
Today might turn out to be slightly warmer than yesterday as the sunshine is plentiful. We will have pleasant sleeping weather tonight. The low will be around 60 in the city, in the mid-50s near the shore and possibly into the upper-40s in the suburbs. Tomorrow's weather will just be a repeat of today's. Friday will be slightly warmer and slightly more humid.
As you'll recall, last weekend was quite warm. This coming weekend, the last full weekend of summer, is expected to be more autumnal than summer-like. Gothamist wonders if last Sunday's high of 85 was our last 80 degree day until next spring.
There's a slight chance of rain Friday night into Saturday. The rain will precede the arrival of a cold front. The air mass behind that front will bring us weekend high temperatures in the upper-60s and lows in the lower-50s.
