Eight people, including a pregnant woman, were injured when a SUV came barreling into a Dunkin' Donuts on Central Avenue in Jersey City last night. Six people were taken to the hospital and a 14-year-old, who was inside the store with her mother and sister, had two broken legs and suffered head trauma. Check out the insane photos.
The driver, it turns out, had a suspended license. According to the Jersey Journal, Marco Guardiola, a Jersey City resident, was charged with "DWI, multiple counts of assault by auto and multiple motor vehicle violations," like "reckless driving, failure to wear a seat belt and failure to exhibit registration, a driver's license and proof of insurance."
The teen also underwent a 3 and 1/2 hour surgery, while the condition of the pregnant woman is unknown. A person who witnessed the crash told NBC New York, "My prayers go out to anyone that got hurt. It was a pretty gruesome scene."
