A driver has reportedly turned himself into the police after killing a 59-year-old woman trying to cross a Brooklyn street with her walker.
Marlene Zotti, who was walking at the time with many groceries, was crossing Ninth Avenue mid-block near 42nd Street in Sunset Park shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. A minivan driver, headed northbound, struck Zotti and continued on, turning east on 42nd Street. Zotti died at a hospital.

WABC 7 reports, "Sources said a 50-year-old man turned himself in to the NYPD early Monday morning after seeing his white minivan on television. He's currently being interviewed by investigators."
