Time and again, we've learned that you should never mess with a man and his Dunkin' Donuts parking space. There's just something about that carbs craving that drives people a bit nutty. And Saturday morning, it happened again: a Long Island man became enraged and got into a fight with another driver over a parking spot at a local Dunkin' Donuts, and ended up following and shooting at the other driver's car.

The incident happened just after 9 a.m. at a Dunkin' Donuts in Amityville. The suspect, who was driving a light brown Chevrolet Tahoe, chased the 30-year-old victim and a passenger. When he caught up to them, he fired one shot at his vehicle with a handgun, hitting the front wheel. Neither person in the Tahoe was injured. Police are still searching for the suspect.

In other Dunkin' Donuts news, a Hartford location was robbed twice during the same Friday night—apparently by different people. But maybe that's just an unfortunate offshoot when you aim for ubiquity.
