Police have arrested the driver who they say killed 33-year-old Doohee Cho near Union Square early Sunday morning. Macgyver Beltran, a 25-year-old Canarsie resident, is charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, a felony.
An NYPD spokesman said that Beltran was arrested after the department received a tip on the incident.
Cho, an assistant vice president at GE Capital, was killed at around 3:15 a.m. as he was crossing Fifth Avenue between East 16th and East 15th Street.
