A dog walker made a grisly discover in a wooded area of Inwood Hill Park this morning when he came up on decomposing human body. The body of a white male, who is believed to have been between 50-60 years old at the time of his death, was badly decomposed. Sources tell A Walk in the Park that "the badly decomposed body was found in a wooded area approximately 100 west of the Henry Hudson Parkway and 50 yards East of the Railroad Bridge at the very tip of Manhattan."

According to the Daily News, the body was found approximately 15 feet from the footpath where the man was walking the dogs. The tabloid also reminds us that this is the same park where Juilliard drama student Sarah Fox was strangled to death in 2004 after going out for a jog. Her murderer still remains at large. Hopefully this morning's horrible discovery isn't the first of many, which we've seen happen when human remains turn up elsewhere.
