A delivery driver was struck by a hit-and-run driver last night in Crown Heights. The 29-year-old man had been driving a motorized scooter when a dark-colored sedan crashed into him near the intersection of Nostrand Avenue and Lincoln Place at roughly 10 p.m. Saturday, according to a police spokesperson.
The sedan's driver fled the scene. Nearby witnesses told CBS the hit-and-run victim had been out making a delivery at the time of the collision. “All I saw was this gentleman in the roadway being attended by paramedics, police and fire officers,” Jacob Job told the news network.
The deliveryman was rushed to Kings County hospital, where he remains in critical condition, according to police. No arrests have been made in connection with the hit-and-run and an investigation is ongoing.
