A cyclist was killed in the Claremont section of the Bronx early this morning. Police say that a 36-year-old man was biking west on St. Paul's Place at around 6:38 a.m. when he was struck by the driver of a vehicle traveling north on 3rd Avenue. The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver remained at the intersection. The investigation is ongoing.

Meanwhile, another cyclist who was hit by a truck in Downtown Brooklyn on October 20th has died of his injuries. EV Grieve reports that the cyclist, Cesar, worked at Stromboli Pizza on First Avenue and St. Mark's and was biking home to his wife and three children when he was hit by the truck on Smith Street. The restaurant is currently taking donations for Cesar's family.
