After mulling for a bit it looks like Andrew Cuomo is indeed going to have a very modest inauguration. He and Lt. Governor-elect Robert Duffy will be sworn in at a private ceremony on New Year's Eve and work will start promptly the next morning at 8:30 a.m.. But just in case you really wanted to congratulate Andy, you can apply to be one of the guests at a public event at the Executive Mansion at 2:30 p.m. New Year's Day. To claim a spot, just fill out the form here. But, uh, do you really want your new year to begin in Albany?
