In contention for the Worst Date of All Time award, a man and a woman were stranded OVERNIGHT on a jet-ski in Jamaica Bay.
The unidentified pair of 26-year-olds were rescued by NYPD officers at around 6:30 a.m. this morning, nine hours after they launched from Rockaway at about 9:30 p.m. last night. The officers who rescued them, George Delegianis and Andy Novellano, told reporters they found the man and woman on the then-sinking jet-ski in the bay's Big Egg Marsh.
They were taken to a nearby hospital and treated for hypothermia. STRANDED OVERNIGHT. SNAPPING TURTLES. Nonononononono.
