A Brooklyn couple walking in Central Park was mugged at gunpoint last night. The police say that the couple was in a gazebo near West 74th Street on the west side when they were robbed.
Around 8:45PM, the robber approached them and took $300 and a cellphone from the woman and $100 from the man. The victims were not injured and the robber fled as soon as he got the money and phone.
Police say the man is around 5’8” and seems to be in his 30s. The victims also said he was wearing a tan baseball cap and a tan, button-down shirt. He is described as being either black or Hispanic also used a silver handgun.
