A city corrections officer was arrested in the early morning hours Sunday after she brandished a loaded gun during an argument over a parking space.
Robin Mervin, 29, was taken into custody just after midnight and charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm and menacing, according to police.
The Post reports that Mervin had been fighting with a 30-year-old man, who claimed she had blocked a parking spot he was attempting to use near the intersection of 8th Avenue and 131st Street in Harlem.
The off-duty corrections officer allegedly pulled her gun from its holster and pointed it at the man, who then dialed 911. The Daily News reports that the weapon Mervin brandished was her city-issued 9mm pistol, however when asked, a police spokesperson could not confirm that
