An East Village woman's Uber ride turned into a nightmare when the driver took her to his apartment and raped her on Thursday morning, according to cops.

Police say that the 31-year-old woman hailed an Uber from East 52nd Street and 2nd Avenue at around 2 a.m. to go back to her East Village apartment early Thursday morning. After she fell asleep though, cops say that the driver took her back to his apartment in Flushing and raped her.

When the woman woke up there and confronted the driver, cops say he told her "I used protection — don’t call police."

The woman fled the home and was able to flag down some police nearby, and medics took the woman to Bellevue Hospital for an examination. She told police she had some drinks earlier that night, but that she didn't consent to sex with the man.

The driver hasn't been arrested yet, but a police spokesperson said that officers "know who they're looking for."

As of press time, a spokesperson for Uber could not be reached.
