The police are hoping the public can help identify and locate a suspect wanted for an attempted rape and attempted robbery in Brooklyn this week.
According to the NYPD, the incident occurred on Tuesday, July 23, at 2:40 a.m.: A 24-year-old woman was walking near 275 Webster Avenue "when she grabbed from behind and thrown to the ground. While on the ground, the suspect demanded her money and attempted to rape her but fled when the victim resisted."
The suspect is described as a man about 27-32 years old and 5'10"-6'1" with dark hair and last seen wearing a black T-shirt and dark blue jeans.
