The NYPD is asking the public for help in finding someone who apparently tried and failed to fire his gun at a Manhattan subway station earlier this month.
According to the NYPD, the incident occurred at 3:05 a.m. on July 13th, when a 50-year-old man got into a "verbal dispute" with the suspect on a northbound 4 train: "As both parties exited the train at the 51 Street and Lexington Avenue subway station, the male suspect attempted to discharge a firearm at the victim and subsequently fled after the gun failed to fire."
Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
