The NYPD is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for robbery in the 5th Precinct.
According to investigators, last Sunday, July 21st, at 10:45 a.m., an 85-year-old woman was in her Chinatown apartment building's elevator with the suspect. He got off the elevator before she did, but when she entered her apartment, he shoved her to the floor and "removed an undetermined amount of money form her as well as her residence and fled the location." The victim refused medical attention.
The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, 5'7" tall weighing 140 pounds. He was wearing a white t-shirt with lettering on it. The police also released a photo of him.
