The police hope the public can help them identify a suspect in a Brooklyn bus assault earlier this spring.

According to the NYPD, the incident occurred on a Saturday afternoon, around 2:15 p.m., on April 25: A man aboard the B63 bus punched another rider during a verbal dispute as it headed north on Fifth Avenue at 72nd Street. The suspect then fled, and the male victim was treated for a laceration over his left eye as well as bleeding in his eye.

The police released an image of the suspect, who has long dark hair, a beard and mustache and seems to be in his 30s.
