The NYPD is asking the public for help in locating a suspect in a horrendous crime: The attempted murder and rape of a 16-year-old girl in Brooklyn.

According to the police, on Sunday, July 14th at around 4 a.m., the victim was lured to the roof of 725 Miller Avenue by two men. The men then sexually assaulted her and threw her off the roof (it appears to be a three-story building). The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital, with injuries to her leg, arm and neck.

One suspect, Anwar Desouza, 24, was caught and charged with attempted murder, assault, rape, criminal sex act and strangulation (he apparently lives in the building), but police are still looking for Antonio Owensford, 26.
