A woman on a bike pedaled up to a driver in Williamsburg last Friday afternoon, struck him in the face, and stole his sunglasses, according to police. They've now released video of the suspect in hopes the public can help them find her.

Officers say the victim was sitting in his vehicle, stopped at a red light on Wythe Avenue and South 6th Street around 1:40 p.m. on August 19th when he was attacked and robbed by the woman. She then fled on her bike, heading west on South 6th towards Kent Avenue. Although she got away with his sunglasses, the victim took a short video of the woman with a dashcam.

It's unclear what, if anything, provoked the incident.

The alleged mugger is approximately 25-years-old and was last seen wearing a sleeveless red T-shirt, black shorts, and a black baseball cap (she has presumably changed clothes since then). She has long black hair and was carrying a black purse and riding a black and green bicycle at the time of the robbery.
