The NYPD is looking for a man who allegedly choked a 15-year-old girl before attempting to rape her in the St. Albans section of Queens.

According to authorities, on July 12th at around 11 p.m., the suspect was talking to the victim near 109 Road and Farmers Boulevard in St. Albans. Then, police say the suspect choked the teenager until she lost consciousness. He allegedly attempted to rape her, but fled instead.

Police say the suspect is a black male in his early 20s who was last seen wearing a red Adidas shirt and red Adidas track pants. He has a tattoo on the right side of his neck and on his right arm. The NYPD has the following video of the suspect:
