A woman was groped while walking near the Whole Foods in Gowanus, Brooklyn last month, and police have now released surveillance footage of the suspect in hopes the public can help track him down.
According to the NYPD, the incident occurred at 7 p.m. on September 19th, when the man "approach[ed] a 35-year-old female victim from behind in the vicinity of 3rd Street and Bond Street and grabbed her buttocks while walking along the sidewalk. The suspect then fled the scene on a bicycle west bound on 3rd Street and made a left turn on Bond Street."
The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as being 27 to 34 years old, 5'8"-5'9" tall and 160-180 pounds with a medium build and dark brown hair, and was last seen wearing a black short sleeve shirt and green army fatigue shorts. Here's the surveillance video:
