Police are looking for the man who attacked another person—with a machete— at a Bronx restaurant early yesterday morning.

Police say that around 1:15 a.m., inside El Carbonocito Restaurant (at 1524 Elder Avenue), the victim was "involved in a verbal dispute...that escalated into the suspect removing a machete from an umbrella and stabbing the victim in the arm, torso and shoulder." The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition.

The video shows the suspect, a male Hispanic wearing a Yankee baseball hat, holding the umbrella:

A witness had told the Daily News that the attacker "tortured" the victim, "I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy."
