NYPD officers are looking for a man who they say sexually abused a woman in her Williamsburg building last weekend.
According to police, the incident occurred last Saturday at midnight. The suspect allegedly followed the 27-year-old victim into the lobby of her building, then waited for the elevator while the victim checked her mail.
Police say the victim was suspicious of the suspect and waited for him to get in the elevator first, ultimately deciding not to take it with him.
Then, police say the suspect got out of the elevator and attempted to talk to the victim. The victim attempted to leave the building, and the suspect allegedly followed her outside. There, cops say he grabbed her buttocks and fled the scene.
Authorities describe the suspect as a balding light skinned male, 5'10" tall and weighing 170 pounds. He was caught on surveillance video, which you can watch below:
