A man fell off the roof of a Crown Heights townhouse last night around 9 p.m. while filming a rap music video, police said. The New York Post reported the man had been drinking with friends atop the three-story building on Sterling Place between Classon and Franklin avenues when he tumbled to the pavement below, catching several branches in his body along the way.

"There were branches sticking out of him," neighbor Matthew Schuffler told the tabloid.

The 36-year-old was transported to New York Methodist Hospital in critical condition, according to police and fire officials. A police spokeswoman said she had no information to indicate the fall was not accidental. The address is eight blocks from where 15-year-old Tyreek Riley fell to his death after trying to jump between two buildings on a dare back in March.
