Police are looking for a man who they say committed a hate crime assault in Borough Park earlier this summer.
The incident took place on Tuesday, June 23rd in the vicinity of 44th Street and 9th Avenue in Brooklyn. The 67-year-old male victim was walking home when the suspect allegedly approached him from behind and punched him repeatedly in the face while saying anti-semitic remarks before fleeing. The victim was taken to an area hospital for bruising and swelling to his face, eye and head.
