A day after evicting protesters from Zuccotti Park and a day before Occupy Wall Street's promised November 17 action, police arrested a man who was seen in a video threatening to attack Macy's with a Molotov cocktail. On the video Nkrumah Tinsley, 29, says, "On the 17th, we going to burn New York City to the f-cking ground... In a few days they’re going to see what a Molotov cocktail can do to Macy’s... They got guns, we got bottles!"

Police officers noticed the threat in Metro, saw the video and, after identifying him, arrested him at Zuccotti Park this afternoon. The Post reports, "As he was hauled away, Tinsley repeatedly shouted profanities, including "F--k you guys!" at least 10 times." Police spokesman Paul Browne said, “We didn’t want him out there [Thursday\]. We wanted him in our custody. He was specific as to date, location and method for the fire bombing ...maybe it was just a rant, but we didn’t want to take that chance."

A fellow protester told the Daily News, “[Tuesday\], a guy was handing out flyers to make Molotov cocktails. A group of us went up to him and said, ‘We don’t want that here — no one is going to take that from you.’"

Tinsley, who was charged with making terroristic threats, had previous been arrested on October 26 "for allegedly punching a cop who was trying to issue him a summons for disorderly conduct during a protest," according to the Post.
