Police are looking for a motorist who struck a pedestrian with his car and then fled the scene early Saturday morning.

According to the NYPD, the driver of a black four-door sedan approached the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Fourth Avenue at 3:17 a.m. Saturday and hit a pedestrian who was crossing Atlantic Avenue at the crosswalk. The driver then immediately fled the scene.

EMS transported the victim, an unidentified male, to Methodist Hospital in Park Slope. He suffered head trauma and remains there in critical condition.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
