A man on a moped was allegedly hit by a cop car late Tuesday night in Clinton Hill. According to the FDNY, the accident occurred around 11:50 p.m. at the corner of Myrtle and Classon Avenues—one man sustained head trauma, and was taken to Kings County. A witness at the scene of the accident told us that "bystanders believe that the police officer ran the red light and struck the guy on the moped. A screaming woman came from the crowd and held onto the man until the ambulance came and took him away."

The tipster added that the photographer, who lives at the intersection, took the photo "after noticing the police's complete lack of care for the man writhing on the ground in blood and gasoline." FDNY confirmed the accident happened, but a spokesman did not know particulars about whether the NYPD was involved. The NYPD press office had no information about any accident occurring.
