The temperature roller coaster continues but the end is in sight. Thanks to a warm front today is already a lot warmer than yesterday. It was 62 at noon, exceeding the forecast high of 60 and yesterday's measly 48 degrees. Heck, south winds and lots of cloud cover will probably keep tonight's low warmer than yesterday's high.
Warm air will be with us again tomorrow. Look for another day with highs in the low 60s across the city. There may be a shower or two later in the day as a cold front approaches. Skies will be clear on Wednesday but it will be breezy and the daytime high will only be in the 40s. It doesn't look like there will be any local weather issues if you are planning on leaving town for the holiday.
Thanksgiving Day's weather will be a muddle. The high pressure that will bring the sunny weather on Wednesday will get squeezed between a ridge over the Atlantic and a storm system approaching from the west. That will result in a mostly cloudy, cool, and probably rainy day. With any luck the rain won't be too heavy during the parade! More rain is expected on Friday and then, maybe, just maybe, the first below freezing weather of the season will arrive to give us a couple of cold weekend mornings.
