One heartwarming thing to come from the horrible mugging of 85-year-old Lillian France in a Brooklyn apartment building's elevator: The Daily News reports that Megdar Evans College student Keyston Boyce raised $900 to replace the money that was stolen from France. Boyston, who "led a door-to-door effort," explained, "She could have easily been my grandmother." (Police arrested Cornelius Abson, suspected of mugging many other senior citizens, a few days after the crime.) France said of Boyce, "In spite of all these bad things that are going on in this country and in our neighborhoods, there are still good kids around who are willing to do good things."
