Yesterday's high temperature in Central Park was 91 degrees. That's the 29th day this year that we've reached at least 90 degrees, which is equal to the total of the last three years. An easterly wind will ensure that today won't be near 90. Instead look for thin overcast skies, a slight chance of rain, and a high in the lower 80s.

The chance of rain will last through the evening hours but tomorrow should dawn with clearing skies. Several days worth of clear skies should follow as high pressure settles over the region. Thursday's high should reach the mid 80s while Friday will approach 90.

Fair weather is expected to continue through at least Saturday and possibly into Sunday. Look for seasonable highs in the low 80s. Clouds should roll in again by Sunday afternoon.
