Police say they apprehended the man accused of recording upskirt footage of a woman at a Rego Park clothing store. And he is a city employee at the Department of Environmental Protection.

Eduardo Pinzon, 42, was charged with unlawful surveillance for the Monday incident, which was caught on security camera video. Victim Edjelyn Gamboa was at the Burlington Coat Factory, in the children's aisle, when she said she felt something brush up against her leg. Store surveillance footage, which she posted to Reddit, shows man appearing to lean down to hold a cellphone near the hem of her skirt and the phone's camera flash going off.

Gamboa's sister was shocked by his footage, telling CBS 2, "If you look at the video he was actually covering the camera using the baby clothes just slip the phone under her skirt."

Gamboa and her sister confronted the man, who they say acted innocent, replying "What happened? I didn't do anything." Then he ran away. The store's employees let them see their footage, which caught the suspect in the act.

After the video, as well as a photograph of the suspected pervert, was shared on Reddit, the sisters added an update: "Someone recognized him from the Facebook post. We are passing that info to the detective. The perv works for the city."

A police spokesperson said Pinzon's coworkers recognized him from the video, and police arrested him at his place of work. He is charged with unlawful surveillance.
