It seems that the heat wave will be replaced by rain and storms this weekend, which is good news for folks stuck on subway platforms and bad news for people who are walking/biking/living. Meanwhile, I will be somewhere upstate, where I hear they have cool air and mountains and no subways. Sucks to be you guys! But I digress.

Here's what's on tap this weekend for those staying in the boroughs, courtesy of the MTA:

2 trains will operate in two sections, between Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College and E 180 St, and then via the 5 to and from Eastchester-Dyre Av, and between E 180 St and Wakefield-241 St, starting at 3:45 a.m. Saturday and ending at 10 p.m. on Sunday. E 180 St-bound trains will run express from Wakefield-241 St to E 180 St during this period.

3 trains will operate two and from New Lots Avenue in both directions from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

There will be no 4 service in either direction between New Lots Av/Crown Hts-Utica Av and Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall, starting at 11:45 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 a.m. Monday. During that period, trains run local in both directions between 125 St and Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall.

5 trains will not run in either direction between Bowling Green and Grand Central-42 St from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday. The 5 shuttle is suspended in both directions between E 180 St and 149 St-Grand Concourse, with that change in effect from 3:45 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and from 9:45 p.m. Saturday to 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

Main St.-bound 7 trains run express from Queensboro Plaza to Willets Point, with a stop at 74 St-Broadway, from 6:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

All A trains reroute along the F line from W 4 St-Wash Sq to Jay St-MetroTech from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Trains run local in both directions between W 4 St-Wash Sq and 59 St-Columbus Circle from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday; during that period, downtown trains run local from 125 St to 59 St-Columbus Circle.

C trains will run along the F line between W 4 St-Wash Sq and Jay St-MetroTech, starting at 6:30 a.m. and ending at 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Coney Island-Stillwell Av bound D trains will run local from 125 St to 59 St-Columbus Circle, starting at 12:01 a.m. Saturday and ending at 5 a.m. Monday.

All E trains will reroute along the F line between 21 St-Queensbridge and W 4 St-Wash Sq from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Jamaica Center-bound trains will run express from 21 St-Queensbridge to 71 Av, with that change in effect from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. On the World Trade Center-bound track, trains run local in Queens from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Jamaica-bound F trains skip 75 Av, Briarwood, and Sutphin Blvd starting at 11:45 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 a.m. Monday. Trains run local from Forest Hills-71 Av to 21 St-Queensbridge, with that change in effect from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

All N trains will reroute along the D line from Coney Island-Stillwell Av to 36 St from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Forest Hills-71 Av bound R trains run express from Queens Plaza to Forest Hills-71 Av from 6:30 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and Sunday. 36 St-bound trains stop at 53 St and 45 St, with that change in effect from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and again from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Update 4:27 p.m.: Work on the 7 train is cancelled this weekend. Hooray!
