The police are looking for a group of men who are allegedly snatching cellphones up—and more—from people near Columbia University. The Daily News reports that five men allegedly "ran up to a 44-year-old woman and grabbed her phone from her hand as she walked down W. 110th St. near Broadway in the middle of the day" on September 12. On October 18, "A 27-year-old man was attacked on the same street near Morningside Drive in another of the five attacks. He was punched by the men before they stole his phone at 2:40 p.m." Then, "The ruthless crew last struck on Oct. 27, when they grabbed a 22-year-old man on W. 113th St. and took his phone and wallet, police said." Maybe this is why Columbia kids are so unfriendly!
