After last week's debacle in Washington, the Giants desperately need a win before facing Philadelphia next week. Unfortunately, most of the injury problems that plagued them last week are still there and some new ones have sprung up. Justin Tuck is questionable as he is still trying to get over his sprained neck. To make matters worse, Hakeem Nicks has a bruised knee and has been barely able to practice all week. But, the Rams have injury problems of their own. Their star running back, Steven Jackson, is questionable with a thigh injury and their best receiver, Danny Amendola, is doubtful with an elbow injury.
The game will mark the return of former Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and also be used to honor the 1986 Super Bowl Champion Giants, but defense will probably not be a big factor in the game. Expect the Giants to run the ball a lot more than they did last week and only go to the pass if they fall behind. Both teams should put up plenty of points, but the Giants will prevail on the scoreboard.
