Interested in learning more about the business side of online publishing? Well, here's your chance to do it in a fun environment! We're looking for a summer intern to help out Gothamist's sales team here at our DUMBO offices a few days a week (hours and days are flexible). Responsibilities include:
- Developing and updating sales/marketing materials;
- Assisting the operations team (may include ad flighting, invoicing);
- Helping prep for sales presentations;
- Participating in brainstorming sessions to come up with new, innovative programs to pitch to advertisers;
- Day-to-day office tasks.
A stipend, some perks and college credit are available. Ideally, our sales intern is somebody who is outgoing, creative, eager to learn more about advertising sales, and is proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Think you're up to the task?
