A day after four people were injured when a cab jumped the curb in Midtown, another hack hopped the curb in Murray Hill this morning, hitting a man and woman and sending the man through a glass door of a nail salon. Around 9:47 a.m., "The taxi came up on the sidewalk and crushed the window," the owner of Hair and Spa Party told the Post."It was kind of like a movie. He [the victim] was half in and half out."According to DNAinfo, four people in total were injured, and three were taken to Bellevue Hospital, two of them with serious injuries.
The NYPD confirmed with us that no summonses had been issued in the case, but that the investigation was still ongoing. The driver of the cab was one of the injured who was transported to Bellevue, along with one of the pedestrians. Both are currently in stable condition. The passenger of the cab, along with another pedestrian, refused medical attention at the scene.
