Well here's an interesting twist on the game of "movable Biden" that's been engaging the Beltway pretty much since Obama was inaugurated. Since last October when Bob Woodward mentioned it, the scuttlebutt had been that the Obama administration was mulling switching Hilary Clinton and Joe Biden around. But now former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown is arguing that maybe Biden will move into the Secretary of State role and Andrew Cuomo will step up to the Veep spot?

Here's what Brown said:

Here's a prediction: Vice President Biden moves over to secretary of state, with New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo stepping in to bring new blood to the Obama re-election campaign.

He's a big name, a big-state governor. And a Democrat who is taking on the issue of pubic-employee salaries and pensions. Plus, he looks good.

A Cuomo source says the governor is flattered by the idea but intends to fill out his full term. However, just the idea of a Cuomo run for veep has our heads spinning. If he ran and won he would be the seventh New York governor to be Veep. America has had divorced and remarried presidents before, but is it ready for a divorced and happily-unmarried vice? Cuomo would certainly be the first Veep to be divorced from a relative to another president. And if he were to join the ticket and win, what would we call his girlfriend Sandra Lee? Right now she's our Semi-First Lady, Semi-Second Lady has a lovely ring to it. Or wait! They could get married! Can you imagine what Sandra Lee could do with a State wedding? That woman could take Kate Middleton down with her pinky.

The imagination runs wild. Anyway, what would you think of a Obama-Cuomo ticket (were one to happen)?
