- A driver was trapped by scaffolding when he somehow drove his car into a building at West 113th and Amsterdam. The police needed to remove him. The driver's injuries were minor, and was not charged with anything. His insurance will probably wreak the most havoc - he also crushed a few cars.
- And a 60 year old man died when he fell from a construction crane. He had been trying to repair the crane at a building site at 9th Avenue and West 53rd Street.
