The brother of a woman found dead in her Bronx apartment building yesterday has been arrested and charged with her murder.
Police say that Jeremy Wilson, 26, fatally bludgeoned Erica Wilson on Thursday, which was her 30th birthday. Erica Wilson's mother found her unconscious and unresponsive body inside her apartment in the Bronx, and it appeared she'd suffered blunt force trauma to her head. "I came out, her sister, her mother, stepdad and other sisters screaming that she was dead," a neighbor told NBC News.
Jeremy Wilson was arrested yesterday and charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon. It's unclear why he may have killed his sister, but witnesses told police the two had been arguing; he also allegedly burglarized his mother's apartment.
