The body of a 33-year-old Brooklyn rapper was found torched and abandoned in the back of an SUV in New Jersey early yesterday. The remains of Rhian "Kampane" Stoute had been charred in multiple places in such a way that it took the Bergen County Medical Examiner most of the day to identify it.

Paramus Police are still waiting for the results of an autopsy, but suspect that the rapper's murder took place elsewhere. The SUV he was found in had New York plates and the police are currently declining to say what tipped them off to find the body. "We have no information as to the nature and location of where the death occurred," said Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli. "We do not believe it occurred at the location where the vehicle and body were discovered."

While police investigate, the family of the single and childless rapper (who was in the midst of pushing his new single, "What You Drinking On") are in mourning. "He was a cool, comedian-type kind-of-guy. He should have been an actor. He brought everyone's energy up," his cousin told the News. "He was ambitious. He was taking all the steps necessary to break out in the music business."
