A Brooklyn couple was arrested after they allegedly abandoned their kids at home so they could go out for drinks and tattoos. Laura Aguero-Dupla, 35, and Alfredo Bobe, 41, are facing child-endangerment charges for allegedly leaving their three sons—ages 4, 5 and 12—at their duplex in Sunset Park while they enjoyed a night on the town.

Neighbors called 911 around 2 a.m. Thursday complaining of hearing a loud noise from their home on 52nd Street near Third Avenue. There are slightly contradicting accounts of what happened next: the Post reports that cops stayed with the kids until the drunken parents returned just before 4 a.m. (they allege they "began to drunkenly fight outside the door").

The News meanwhile says the couple had a fight while out drinking at a LES bar, leading to Bobe going home alone; he didn't have his keys and broke a glass panel on the door to get in (hence the noise neighbors heard). When cops arrived, Aguero-Dupla was found pacing outside the building.

One thing seems clear: before meeting her husband at the bar, Aguero-Dupla admitted to police that she went to get a tattoo finished at a Lower East Side shop.

Aguero-Dupla has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child; Bobe has been charged with criminal mischief and acting in a manner injurious to a child. The couple has been barred from seeing their kids, who are staying with a relative.

According to tabloid reports, the parents have been arrested before for several incidents, including one in which Aguero-Dupla allegedly "chucked [her husband's] bicycle in front of a moving car and was charged with criminal mischief."

Aguero-Dupla, a teacher at Middle School 88, has been pulled from her classroom since the arrest. "While this alleged behavior is not school-related, it is unacceptable. Ms. Aguero...has been reassigned away from any classroom, and will not be in contact with students,” a DOE spokesperson said in a statement.
