Police are looking for a man who allegedly took a cop car for a joyride—and crashed it.
An unknown man allegedly stole a marked police car that was parked in front of the 50th Precinct station house in Kingsbridge around 6:40 a.m. this morning. An NYPD source told the Post that the keys had been left in the car's ignition.
The man crashed the police car into two other cars parked near Fordham Road and Sedgwick Avenue in University Heights. The man then drove away in a black Lincoln town car.
The man was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater and a black jacket. The investigation is ongoing.
