The 5-year-old Bronx boy who was struck by a vehicle on Saturday night seems to be doing much better. Joshua Saunders had chased a ball into East 214th Street when a SUV (which witnesses say was speeding and never stopped) hit him, breaking his legs, arm, and some ribs and puncturing his lungs. His aunt tells the Post, "He's doing much better now. They put him in a coma just to be safe, so he wouldn't move around." His father told the Daily News that the driver is a "coward and a maniac... I want them to come forward and be responsible for what they've done to my son."
