A deputy inspector in the NYPD assigned to a Bronx precinct has been charged with forcible touching, after allegedly attacking a fellow officer who worked in the precinct he was in charge of.

Keith Walton, a 44-year-old deputy inspector in the 49th Precinct in the Bronx, was arrested yesterday and charged with 2 counts of sex abuse, and one count each of forcible touching, official misconduct and harassment. According to the Times, the arrest stems from an an alleged November 6th attack on an unnamed female officer in Walton's office, in which Walton pulled her hair, attempted to kiss her, put his hands on her genitals over her clothes and put her hand on his erect penis over his clothes.

Sources told CBS that a supervisor witnessed the attack and called internal affairs. According to the News, Walton allegedly told investigators that the contact was consensual. Prosecutors say that Walton yelled "Don’t (expletive) with me," when the female officer tried to leave the room. Walton has been placed on modified duty and stripped of his badge and gun as a result of the investigation and arrest.
